Eat that Frog with a Pomodoro

Productivity is never an accident. It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort.” – Paul J. Meyer

Most of us think that if we stop at any point in the day, we will lose out. It is something that runs so deep for the lot of us that it has become a part of our life. Fortunately, it is incorrect, and the proof is pretty mesmerizing.

I being a person who is always sitting on a chair with a laptop in the front whole day from morning to night was badly in need of such a technique. I am such a person who is working the whole day continuously until and unless my mother calls me out to have lunch or dinner. I had heard about this technique before but have not applied it but as it was the part of the Project Work I had to definitely apply it.

I applied this technique while doing my Online Course for this week of AMAL. It was a good experience but there were distractions that were there as well but I tried my best to overcome them like I have a habit of using my cellphone checking Whatsapp so in order to overcome this distraction I turned my cellphone to Don’t Disturb Mode and I was ready to go with this technique. I had a great experience working for this technique as it made me restricted to focus on my task and prioritize things. During the break time, I had some juice in order to refresh myself and checked my Whatsapp too which I was not supposed but my habit made me do this.

Thus it was a really good experience implementing it as this method is a simple but powerful technique for increasing efficiency and productivity. If you are really interested in maximizing your productivity and getting more done each day, and doing it the smart way, the Pomodoro method may be exactly what you need. But don’t take my word for it give it a try and see for yourself.
